Bank of Maharashtra a premier Nationalised Bank invites applications from Indian Citizens forthe posts in Clerical Cadre on the basis of suitability cum interview as follows. :
Candidates are requested to apply on-line through Bank`s website
http://www.bankofmaharashtra.in between 01-07-2010 TO 20-07-2010 or they may send the
prescribed application form by ordinary post so as to reach us on or before the last date
mentioned below.

Last Date for Receipt of application by Post 24-07-2010
Last Date for Receipt of application by Post from Far Flung Areas *** 31-07-2010
Date of Interview - WILL BE INFORMED SEPARATELY
Scale of Pay : Rs. 7200/- TO - Rs.24900-/-
(DA, HRA, etc. will be paid as per Bank’s rules in force from time to time depending upon place of posting. Medical, LTC, Contributory Pension Scheme under Defined Contributory Retirement benefit scheme-2004 of Central Government, Gratuity etc will be admissible as per Bank’s rules.)
Eligibility Criteria:
i) Candidates applying for post in a particular State should be proficient in the
language of the State i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the
language.
ii) Candidates should be proficient in the language, know how to read, write, speak
and understand the language of the area for which vacancies are advertised and
for which he/ she desires to apply.
iii) All the eligibility criteria ( qualification, age etc.) shall be computed as on
01/06/2010
Age Limit (As on: 01-06-2010):
FOR GRADUATES Minimum 18 Maximum 26
FOR UNDERGRADUATES Minimum 18 Maximum 21
Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:
1 Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe Candidates 5 years Age Relaxation
2 Other Backward Classes Candidates 3 years Age Relaxation
3 Physically Challenged Candidates 10 years Age Relaxation
4 Persons domiciled in Kashmir Division of Jammu & Kashmir State during
the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 5 years Age Relaxation
5 Ex-Servicemen (in addition to the actual period of service rendered in
Defence services subject to max. age of 50 years) 3 years Age Relaxation
6 Widows, Divorced women & women judicially separated from their
husbands & who are not remarried (subject to max. age limit of 35 years
for General & 40 years for SC/ST candidates) 9 years Age Relaxation
