Eligibility Criteria(as on 01-04-2011),
Officer MMGS-III - (Age between 21 to 40 years - 5 Years Experience). Degree with the related subject or its equivalent with minimum of 50% marks.
Credit Officer (01 Post) :- Should have a degree/diploma in Banking & Finance.
Marketing/Wealth Management Officer (01 Post) :- Should have a degree/diploma in Marketing/Banking/Finance.
Chartered Accountants (01 Post) :- Should be qualified Chartered Accountant.
Officer MMGS-II (21 - 32 years):-
IT Officers (10 Posts) :- Degree in Electronics / Communication/ CS / IT or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks. Minimum One years experience required and Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc. is preferred.
Technical Field Officer (02 Post) :- B.Tech. in Civil/Mechanical with One Year Experience.
Security Officer (02 Posts) :- Degree with minimum 50% marks. Five year experience as Commissioned Officers in armed officer is desirable.
Law Officer (01 Post) :- Should have a degree in Law (Min 50% Marks). Two years Experience as Law officer in any bank.
Personnel Officer (01 Post) :- MBA in HR or Master Degree in social work (Personnel Management & Labour Law). Experience of two years in Personnel Management.
General Banking Officer (35 Posts) :- Should have a degree in any discipline (Min 50% Marks). Two years Experience as officer in any bank.
Credit Officer (08 Posts) :- Should have a degree/diploma in Banking & Finance (Min 50% Marks). Two years Experience as officer in Credit department of any bank.
Officer JMGS-I - (18 years - 28 years)( No Experience required).
Agricultural Officer ( 25 Posts ) :- Degree in any Agricultural subject with 50% Marks. (Agri. subjects are Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture).
Marketing Officer (12 Posts) :- MBA in Marketing/Finance.
General Banking Officer (86 Posts) :- Bachelor degree in any discipline or its equivalent. Computer knowledge will be considered an added qualification. Proficiency in local language is required.
Selection Procedure
The selection will be made on the basis of performance in written test and interview. All the eligible candidates who apply with the requisite fee and whose online applications are received in time and who fulfill the eligibility criteria will be called for a written test, which will be of objective type comprising the following:

HOW TO APPLY
1. All eligible candidates should apply online through the link provided to our website
http://www.mbgbpatna.com in the prescribed format from 15-02-2012. Please note that the last date for submission of on-line application is 15-03-2012.
Candidates should have a valid e-mail ID. It should be kept active during the currency of this recruitment project. This will help him / her in getting call letter / interview advices etc. under no circumstances he / she should share / mention e-mail ID to / of any other person. In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he / she should create his / her new e-mail ID before applying on line.
2. Candidates should fill up the application available after clicking the link given in the notification.
3. Branch code and Branch Transaction Journal Number noted on the Challan form should be correctly filled in the application at appropriate place.
4. Application, after filling up all the mandatory fields and security check box, should be submitted by a click on the “submit” button.
5. All the mandatory fields (marked with*) should be filled in, otherwise the system will not accept the application.
6. The candidates should note / remember the Registration number and Password for future reference and use.
7. There is provision to modify the submitted online application. Candidates are requested to make use of this facility to correct the details in online application, if any. This modification facility shall be available after two days of registration and upto 17-03-2012. Modification will be allowed only three times. After the last date no modification will be permitted.
8. Please note that the above is the general procedure for applying on-line. No other mode of application or incomplete application will be accepted and in such case, the application will be rejected outright.
9. After applying on-line, the candidates should take a print out of the system generated on-line application form and retain it for future reference. They should not send this print out to the Bank, which they will have to submit at the time of interview.

The fees is Rs.50(SC/ST/PWD/EXS) and Rs.450(For others).
Payment is to be done by below challans. Choose your category and make payment in any branch of Punjab National Bank.
After payment, make sure that Transaction Jounal Number, Branch Name, Branch code number and Date of deposit are correctly mentioned on your copy of challan.
Keep this challan safe for written exam. Note down the registration number and pasword after applying. Take two print-outs of application form for reference. Sign them and paste a recent photo in space provided.
